I have managed to get myself neck deep in debt!
I have been looking to buy a house for quite a while now – on and off. In the last few years, I had narrowed down the scope of my search to Foster City. Today, the bank has finally approved the loan and funded it. Technically the loan could potentially keep me busy well into my old age – even past retirement. But I think I can pay it off in 10 to 12 years. Let’s see.
A house brings along with it a whole bunch of new activities – the least of which is mowing the lawn. Fortunately the house is in top shape and will not be needing any immediate repairs – save a missing shingle on the roof. I have to replace the missing shingle before it rains.
I plan to start working on a tree house (sans tree) in the backyard. Joshua has always wanted a house with a garden – got that. He has also wanted a tree house – that will be my next project. Right after installing occupancy sensing switches.
